FDYL supports the launch of Accounts Online UK Ltd

FDYL has been instrumental in the planning and development of an exciting new business venture, Accounts Online UK Ltd, which will be officially launched in September 2009.

Accounts Online will complement the FDYL business model by providing a one-stop shop for the bookkeeping and accounting needs of smaller owner-managed SME businesses with annual turnover up to £1m.

The business will use the latest developments in cloud computing by partnering with Liquid Accounts, the leading provider of online accounting software. This will allow secure access to accounting records from any location with broadband internet access.

FDYL Associate Graham Lawley has overseen the development project and has now taken up the role of Managing Director for the new business. "Accounts Online will deliver a totally flexible and cost-effective service to smaller SMEs," says Graham, adding "we're happy to provide a fully outsourced solution or to work hand in hand with a company's in-house finance team. Either way, our approach is based on providing practical, hands-on support that aims to add value to the client business."

One of Graham's first tasks was to recruit a Sales Manager, Kevin Banks (pictured left, with Graham), who joined the team at the beginning of August. Kevin has wide-ranging experience in the financial services sector, including branch management positions with the Woolwich. He has also run his own commercial finance broking business.

"I'm very excited about the prospects for Accounts Online," says Kevin, "and with the support and experience of the FDYL team in the background we have a great starting platform. I believe that we can make a real difference in the smaller SME sector, especially in the current climate where our fixed price model will help clients to control their costs."
