Leeds best kept secrets

FDYL, Yorkshires leading firm of interim finance directors hosted an unusual
evening at the Leeds City Museum on Tuesday evening. Many of the regions
senior bankers and influential professionals from Leeds financial, legal
and accountancy firms had a private viewing of the exhibits at the museums
outstanding collection of prehistoric wildlife whilst discussing what the
future holds for the areas economy.

Neil Muffitt, Head of Marketing at FDYL explained the choice of venue "We
always seek to provide a genuinely stimulating location for this event. The
museum is one of Leeds best kept secrets and so, we believe are FDYL. We
were delighted to have over 80 guests and give them an opportunity to openly
exchange views with their peers about the impact of current events on the
regions financial sector."

Neil gave a short presentation on the advantages of using interim and part
time financial directors in difficult times

FDYL have a growing number of associates, who often specialise in key
sectors, discreetly providing high level financial guidance to MDs and
CEOs. As Yorkshire's leading firm of interim finance directors FDYL are able to
help the regions businesses, often when traditional sources of professional
advice are unable to bring the necessary objectivity and experience to bear.

As Neil Muffitt explained "Our role is often to support lonely MDs during
difficult periods. The scope of assistance and analysis an interim finance
director can offer is significant. Tonight's event allowed us to speak to
the people who best understand what is needed in these circumstances. The
business world is often described as a jungle so it was appropriate to be
surrounded by some of the best survivors from the past!"
