FAQs

How much will I earn?

Your salary at FDYL will depend on the position that you are recruited into, your qualifications and experience. Your salary is reviewed annually and linked to performance.

Where will I work?

You would be based at our offices located 400 yards from junction 26 of the M62 motorway, near to Cleckheaton. However, the majority of our staff and associates spend most of their time working at our clients’ premises.

What are the minimum academic requirements for experienced professionals?

It will depend on the particular job you apply for; in some cases the relevant work experience you have will be more important than your academic qualifications.

If my application is unsuccessful, can I apply again in the future?

If you are unsuccessful in your application this will not preclude you from applying for any future vacancies we advertise.

Recruitment Process

This is generally a 5 stage process:-

1.

Submit CV

2.

Telephone ‘interview’ (in reality, a discussion to see if there is ‘common ground’)

3. Initial meeting with a director or department head (for each to get to know the other better and for the candidate to understand the job role)
4. Second meeting involving other FDYL staff (to enable the candidate to discuss the role with future colleagues and to complete a ‘profile questionnaire’)
5. Final meeting to discuss the outline terms of employment (or self-employed/associate contract), prior to an offer being made.

This may seem a lengthy process, but we have a low staff turnover because candidates understand the job requirements and working environment in detail, before they accept the position.
